Student Pugwash and the Rotblat Society maintain two different online communities:
- We use Slack to host our discussions among members. While anyone can set up a private channel there, with those exceptions members have access to most conversations there.
- We use Basecamp for private discussions in our working groups and project teams. Basecamp allows for a more structured conversation, with separate areas for a message board, live chat, to-dos, calendars, and other features.
All members receive an invitation to Slack when they join. You'll be invited to Basecamp when you join a working group or team that uses the site.
More documentation about how we use these online sites, including codes of conduct, is forthcoming. In the meantime, our policy is as follows:
Treat other members with respect at all times.
Heated discussions are fine; insults are not.
We have a zero tolerance harassment policy.
