Welcome to our newly launched website and membership programs. We're calling this our "pre-launch" period for both our programs and the tools we're using, during which time we'll work with our early members to iterate both to best suit everyone's needs. We have a lot of exciting plans here, and we're building some great technology to put them into action—but we'll be right about some things and wrong about others. So we want to work with you, our first members and visitors to the new website, to find out how best to implement our membership programs and make this website into an excellent resource for ethics in STEM programs taking place here and in other organizations.
So, yes, we know the website looks like it took a wrong turn at 2005 and ended up here. We have limited time to work on it—all of us running Student Pugwash and the Rotblat Society are also volunteers—and our first order of business is the programming that automates more procedures, so we spend less time on grunt work. A much more modern look is on the way, and will probably be pegged to the "official launch."
Bear with us while we improve. It'll be worth it.
